1 lb ham cut into 1/4 cubes 2 lb peeled & deveined shrimp 1 cup onion, finely diced 1/2 cup celery, finely chopped 1/2 cup bell pepper, finely chopped (any color) 2-3 cloves finely chopped garlic 1/2 cup green onions, finely chopped 1/2 cup italian parsley, coarsely chopped 1 (28oz) can whole peeled tomatoes 2 cups water 1 1/2 cups rice 1 1/2 tsp Salt 1/2 tsp pepper (to taste) 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper About 1/2 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce 1/4 cup Butter 2 tbsp Oil
In pot with tight fitting lid. Over a Medium-High to High heat, melt butter and oil. Add onions, celery, pepper, and garlic. Saute for 5-7 minutes or until wilted. Add ham and saute for 5 minutes. Slightly brown. Stir consistently. Add tomatoes and green onions. Stir. Add salt, pepper, tsp of cayenne pepper. Add rice and water and shrimp. Boil. At Boil, add half of parsley, reduce to lowest possible simmer. Simmer for 20-25 minutes.

1 1/2 cups rice
1 1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp pepper (to taste)
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
About 1/2 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup Butter
2 tbsp Oil
